Introduce a clear jingle and an easy-to-hold percussion shape with this wooden tambourine. A circular wooden frame surrounds the drum surface, with metal jingles arranged around the rim so the sound can change as the instrument is tapped, shaken or moved to a beat. The plain wood finish leaves the construction visible and gives the instrument a simple appearance that suits a music corner, classroom activity or informal session at home. Its open-backed form allows the frame to be held from the side while the other hand taps the top. The relatively compact body is straightforward to store with other small percussion instruments when the session ends. Use it to accompany a song, explore a repeated rhythm, or add a contrasting sound alongside clapping and other handheld instruments. This is a single tambourine with a wooden rim and one row of jingles. The wooden frame gives your hands a simple point of contact while the metal jingles respond to movement. Pick up a rhythm, join a song and make the next music session more hands-on.
